Arlington Civitan Flea Market To Kick Off 2023 Season On April 1

Nov 02, 2023

ARLINGTON, VA — The Arlington Civitan Flea Market is kicking off its 2023 season on Saturday, April 1 at the Washington-Liberty High School parking garage.

The garage sale and flea market, started in 1986, attracts vendors from across the Washington, D.C., area and Mid-Atlantic region. The Arlington Civitan Club is expecting at least 75 vendors at the kick-off flea sale on April 1 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Civitan Club of Arlington uses money raised from the flea market to provide financial assistance to several local charities, many of which focus on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

For the flea market, vendors can purchase a parking space in the W-L garage, at North Quincy Street and 15th N. Street, for $20. Most vendors usually reserve two parking spaces.

There will be a snack bar on-site at the flea market that will be cash-only. Portable restrooms are expected to be available on Level E of the parking garage at the 15th Street N. entrance.

Vendors can claim their parking spots on the evening of Friday, March 31 and then show up early Saturday morning — usually no later than 6:30 a.m. — to set up their tables to sell their second-hand goods and other items. Later Saturday morning, collectors will come by and collect $20 for each spot the vendors are using.

The Arlington Civitan Garage Sale and Flea Market, one of the largest in the region, is a great place for collectors looking to find rare and other hard-to-find items. It's also a perfect place for Arlingtonians and people from across the D.C. area to find something in particular or browse and find a unique item they weren't looking for in the first place.

The Arlington Civitan Flea Market is held the first Saturday of each month from April through November, with hours of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
