"That '70s Show" Guest Stars You Probably Forgot About
Not all of them were happy about their cameos.

It's possible the show will return to Netflix eventually, especially since the streaming site has the That '90s Show reboot in the works.
Plum, who starred on The Brady Bunch as middle sister Jan, popped up as Jackie's mom in the Season 1 episode "The Keg." The character disappeared until Season 6 when she was played by Brooke Shields.
Gordon-Levitt, who was starring in 3rd Rock From the Sun at the time, played Buddy in the Season 1 episode "Eric's Buddy," a classmate with a crush on Eric. Even though they agreed to be friends by the end of the episode, we never saw or heard anything about him again.
Before officially trading wresting for acting, Johnson appeared in the Season 1 episode "That Wrestling Show," as his own father, Rocky Johnson.
Adding what would become a long list of mom roles, Sagal played Hyde's mom Edna in the Season 1 episode "Career Day." (According to IMDb she also provided Edna's voice in two episodes but was uncredited.)
Gaynor appeared in the Season 1 episode "Prom Night," as a music teacher named Mrs. Clark. This cameo is particularly interesting because Mrs. Clark takes credit for "I Will Survive," suggesting either that Gloria Gaynor doesn't exist in the That '70s Show universe, or that she does and the writers of the song stole it from a small-town Wisconsin high school teacher.
In one of her first onscreen roles ever, Adams played Kat Peterson, a popular girl who hooks up with Hyde (but only in secret), in the Season 2 episode, "Burning Down the House."
Jones appears as herself in the Season 3 episode, "Red Sees Red," in a dream sequence Kitty has about her kids running away to join the Partridge family.
Charo also appears in "Red Sees Red," in the same dream sequence.
In the Season 2 episode, "Eric Gets Suspended," Hart played Mary, a religious teen who, along with her friend Patty (played by Hart's Sabrina the Teenage Witch costar Lindsay Sloane), goes on a blind double date with Hyde and Fez.
In the Season 3 episode "Radio Daze," Cooper plays himself in a worst-case scenario daydream Eric has about Donna working at the local radio station.
Armstrong plays a radio DJ in "Radio Daze," whose on-air persona turns out to be a lot cooler (stereotypically, anyway) than his actual self.
Knight appears as an angel in the Season 4 premiere, "It's a Wonderful Life." His character shows Eric what his life would have been like if he and Donna had never gotten together.
Gordon-Levitt wasn't the only member of the Soloman family to appear on That '70s Show. The 3rd Rock From the Sun star appeared in the Season 4 episode "Hyde Gets the Girl" as Daniel, Kelso's main competition for a free van. (According to IMDB he also had an uncredited appearance in the following episode, "Bye Bye Basement," but I couldn't spot him.)
I was able to spot Home Improvement alum Karn in "Bye Bye Basement." He played Leo's cousin Theo — the pair are enlisted to renovate the basement, which they fail spectacularly at.
Between starring in Traffic and Swimfan, Christensen found some time to appear in the Season 4 episode, "Red and Stacey," as a Pricemart employee with a "creepy" crush on Red.
Daniel played Eric's justifiably vengeful cousin Penny in the Season 4 episode "Eric's Hot Cousin."
Fun fact: She starred in the short-lived That '70s Show pseudo-companion series That '80s Show shortly after this guest spot (and when I say "shortly," I mean That '80s Show premiered literally the night after this episode aired).
In one of what I consider one of the more bizarre cameos of the series, Osbourne spent less than 30 seconds onscreen in the Season 5 episode, "Misty Mountain Hop" as Andy, a classmate Fez tries to deny a driver's license to at the DMV until he brings up an embarrassing story about him.
The late Willard appeared in the Season 5 episode, "Battle of Evermore," as Charlie, the dad half of a father-son duo competing against Red and Eric in a charity event. (The son, Mitch, is played by Seth Green, who appeared in a handful of later episodes.)
Goldthwait also appears in "Battle of Evermore," as Eli — another cousin of Leo's — who's crashing in his apartment.
Chilli played an unnamed nurse in the Season 5 episode, "You Shook Me," who Hyde hooks up with after assuming Jackie has cheated on him with Kelso.
Apparently, she didn't love the experience, telling Maxim a few years later, "I like that show, but I hated my character... I said yes before I saw the script. Then I was like, 'Oh, what do I have to wear?' TLC's always been sexy, but always tasteful...and they had me in one of those little white dresses and white fishnet stockings."
Williams popped up in the Season 6 episode, "Baby Don't You Do It," as a marriage counselor with a deep love for Star Wars.
Bilson appears in the Season 6 episode, "5:15," as Christy, a mean girl Fez tries to court at a wedding with help from Jackie.
In the Season 6 penultimate episode, "Going Mobile," Fairchild played Brooke's mom who's come to take her daughter back to Chicago.
Lohan, who'd starred in Mean Girls earlier that same year, appeared in the Season 7 episode ,"Mother's Little Helper" as Danielle, one of Fez's salon clients who ditches Kelso to date him.
Just a couple months before The Office premiered, Fischer could be seen in the Season 7 episode, "Don't Lie To Me" as a wedding shop employee idolized by Jackie.
In a stark departure from her usual tough girl roles, Dushku appeared as the airheaded Missy, a radio station rival of Donna's, in the Season 7 episode, "It's All Over Now."
Elliott played the guidance counselor with a creepy obsession with Donna, and who convinced Eric to take a scholarship that would send him to Africa in the Season 7 episode, "2000 Light Years From Home."
Willis might be the biggest star to have a one-off cameo on the show, something he did as a favor to his pal, Ashton Kutcher. He showed up in the Season 8 episode, "Misfire," as Vic, the sleazy head of security at the Playboy Club, who ultimately offers Kelso a job.
Willis reportedly even donated his appearance fee to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, specifically for Hurricane Katrina survivors.
In what would be his final onscreen role, Knotts appeared as himself in the Season 8 episode, "Stone Cold Crazy," as the landlord in Fez's Three's Company-style fantasy about living with Fez.
The late Hayes briefly popped up in the Season 8 episode, "Spread Your Wings," playing himself in a musical number Fez imagines.
In what I consider to be another strange cameo — mainly because of his bad English accent and terrible wig — Long pops up in the series' penultimate episode, "Love of My Life," as Fez's friend Andrew, who tries to convince Fez to return to their home country.
Get your heart pumping with Fall, a new thriller that will take you to terrifying heights. Watch it on demand right now, and on DVD/Blu-ray on October 18.
